We’ll be reporting on the impact on industries and programs ranging from transportation and health care to education, immigration, international trade, and more.
In the sidebar (right) you’ll find articles by experts who share their knowledge and insight into the fallout and what the world might look like in the future. Most importantly, they offer hope and ideas on what we can do to be the change we want to see.
The illustration, above, is by award-winning artist Michael Glenwood Gibbs. This piece, entitled “American Worker,” was created for the Manifest Hope show, an exhibition of artwork by artists calling attention to the issues and candidacy of Barack Obama. Selected artists choose one of a variety of issues. “I opted to focus on labor,” says Michael, who was the inaguration’s DC Manifest Hope show in Georgetown in the weeks surrounding Obama’s January 2009 inauguration.
