Inkandescent Roadtrip

Monday Morning Magic from Inkandescent® PR + Publishing Co. — We have much to celebrate this Labor Day at Inkandescent®. Not only was our daughter Anna Paige born on Labor Day 1995 (Sept. 4 that year), but today she and I are embarking on a cross-country road trip bringing me back to the east coast. From her flight into Albuquerque, NM, on Sept. 2 to her capturing the sunset in the Petrified Forest the following day, we ushered in her 27th year birthday in Sedona yesterday.

Click here to see where the road takes us as we make our way to the next Inkandescent® headquarters: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware — Having always wanted to live by the sea, I can’t think of a better place to create the next phase of our company and my life. From creating new issues in our magazines to practicing the craft of massage, I look forward to sharing more magic with all of you!

I leave you with this parting thought from my favorite book, Anne Morrow Lindbergh’s Gift from the Sea: “I walked far down the beach, soothed by the rhythm of the waves, the sun on my bare back and legs, the wind and mist from the spray of my hair. Into the waves and out like a sandpiper. And then home, drenched, drugged, reeling, full to the brim with my day alone; full like the moon before the night has taken a single nibble of it; full as a cup poured up to the lip. There is a quality of fullness that the Psalmist expressed: My cup runner over.’’

Until next Monday: May you do the one thing that scares you and the one thing that brings you endless joy. Here’s to loving the dance of life! — Hope Katz Gibbs, founder, and president, Inkandescent® Inc. Inkandescent.us
