About Julie: With more than 35 years of financial industry experience along with a national network of relationships to the planning table, Julie entered the industry in 1986. Her career trajectory focused on risk management and has experienced all three facets of our industry — working with the public, as well as in the field of corporate leadership, and as a personal consumer. Her final corporate position had Julie and her team-leading independent financial advisors across the country through best industry practices utilizing advanced life insurance concepts.
Instead of New Year’s Resolutions, Julie always maintained a Plan B as to the work that she wanted to do should her then-current role no longer be a fit. She would update the plan annually to reflect the current industry direction along with her experience and passions. In 2017, Julie had recognized that the industry faced three major issues: succession challenges, effectively scaling a practice and enabling women & minorities to achieve the gravitas necessary for them to stay in the industry. Evozen’s ClientFirst platform embraces these three pillars while elevating the client. A contributing writer on financial topics to US News & World Report, Julie is also working on a book titled, “BLINK: Because Life Isn’t Neat & Clean.”
Avid artists and photographers, Julie and her husband, David, love to travel worldwide for inspiration. Julie also enjoys experimenting in the garden, growing organic flowers and vegetables year-round. They are the proud parents of two rescue mixed border collies. Julie is equally passionate about giving back to her community. Toward that goal, Evozen donates 15% of all net profits to One Generation Away, a 501(c)(3) in Franklin TN whose goal is to wipe hunger off the face of America. She has served in leadership roles across many industry organizations and local charities.
A graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor’s in business administration, Julie is a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) professional designations from The American College.
