A Note from Andrea Walton, founder, Concrete Rose Scholarship Foundation — Amy, a student at Boston University, has been awarded a $500 scholarship for her outstanding commitment to education and leadership. We’re so proud to support her journey and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!
Here’s what Amy had to say about her award:
Dear Concrete Rose Foundation — I am incredibly thankful and honored to be selected as a winner for this amazing scholarship. After numerous hours of sharing my story in applications, I was truly shocked to find out that I have achieved something extraordinary. I am excited to continue my academic journey while also supporting women and their dreams. Every day, women are working hard to make a name for themselves and fight for their equality, especially in male-dominated STEM fields. I am ready to make a difference in society to ensure our voices are heard. Thank you again for this opportunity and for selecting me to show what this scholarship means.
