PW Classmates: Tell us about your life! 

Jeff Fox: I am married with two children. My daughter is 18, and a senior at Germantown Academy. She will be playing basketball and majoring in premed at Franklin and Marshall next year. My son is 16 and is a sophomore at AIM Academy. He is also a Basketball and soccer player. Although I have only been married for 21 years, I have known my wife Song since we were teenagers.

PW Classmates: What do you do now for work?

Jeff: For the past 36 years I have been the creative/business director for J.M. Fox Associates, Inc., a full-service Advertising, marketing, and brand development agency: jmfox.com.

Now what I really do all day is coach high school men’s basketball at AIM Academy. We are a non-recruited school that succeeds by outworking our opponents and emphasizing teamwork. I have also taught and coached youth basketball and soccer for the past 28 years.

PW Classmates: What has your career path been since graduating from PW?

Jeff: After graduating from college, I got a job working for a smaller sized advertising agency. I then had an opportunity to join a larger firm where I learned an important lesson. The lesson I learned was how to treat people that you work with and who work for you with respect. This is one of the reasons that ten out of the twelve people that work for me have been at the agency for over 28 years.

PW Classmates: What did you dream of becoming when you were in high school?

Jeff: My high school dream was to write and perform music professionally. I came close to achieving this goal; two of my original songs received light radio rotation, and several others were featured as background music in television commercials.

PW Classmates: Where did you go to college, graduate school, trade school, etc.?

Jeff: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Chester University and post graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

PW Classmates: What advice would you give to your high school self?

Jeff: Do not be afraid to ask for help.

PW Classmates: What advice do you have for others about creating your best life?

Jeff: You only have one life, do what makes you happy.

 PW Classmates: What would you like to say to all your classmates today?

Jeff: If you have not made it to any of our class reunions, do your best to show up at our next one. It is always nice to catch up with everyone.
