Out of the mouths of babes — For years, I have planned to launch an online publication that gives voice to kids K-20. They are the future, and the future is now. It is critical that they learn to think critically, creatively, and have the opportunity to raise their voice about the world they are inheriting. As a long-time award-winning journalist, publicist, and author, I am honored to have the ability and opportunity to reach out to families around the world with this invitation.

Coming March 2025: Children around the globe are invited to become a writer, author, illustrator, photographer, and videographer, and tell each other — and the grown-ups that are leaving the world in your hands — what you are thinking, feeling, experiencing, and wishing.

What we have so far: A handful of grandparents have learned about this opportunity and have shared powerful essays by the young people that they love. College students looking for advice on how to build their careers have reached out, and my invitation was to write an essay for our readers. You’ll find these in the sidebar, at right. Once the magazine is launched these, and many more essays, art, and videos will be available.

Here’s how it’ll work:

• We are building an editorial board of high school and college students who will help guide the process of accepting submissions (donations of $50/essay are welcome).
• We will also be hosting month-long classes taught by seasoned journalists to guide students to “Think like a journalist;” their work will be published ($150/class).
• We are looking for educational organizations (schools, community centers, and more) to join us and share their student’s work.
• We will be looking for sponsors to help support our mission.
• And, we will host events around the world to celebrate kids.
